In Good Company opens a door into the private collections of Philadelphia photographers. It brings together photographs they have acquired, traded, received as gifts, and chosen to live with over the years.
Usually seen on living room walls or kept in flat files, these works come together at LightRoom Gallery to form a portrait of a community through the eyes of its collectors. Each selection offers a glimpse of the relationships, influences, and quiet acts of support that shape an artist’s life.
Many of these connections run through The Photo Review’s annual benefit auctions. Together, the collections reveal how photographs circulate, how artists champion one another, and how a community’s history is carried forward.
